This T-shirt is like a full circle for me. Back in 2020 when I started my print adventure, I was keen to explore memories of going to art college in London, reminisce about the things I’d done and the objects that meant something to me.
I was reluctant to include myself in these London images for various reasons, some of which I’m still not sure of today! Luckily a friend from the past, Cathi Rae was a regular poster on Instagram and daily she would appear with some home truths or pearls of wisdom. Along with these comments she would strike some playful pose. I was so taken by these images that I decided to ask her if I could use them for my own art journey. Luckily she said yes!
So here she is again, this time wearing one of my t-shirts, with her image on it. Isn’t like strange but wonderful
