This is the first of my Sewing Machine series, despite it being called No2. I was captivated by the curves and straignt lines of sewing machines from an early age. It’s precision engineering designed for a skilled garment maker to use for years. It was more likely to wear out that breakdown. The combination of cast metal and chrome ensured a robust structure to a polished piece of kit. My image merely focuses on the centre of attention, the foot. I tried to create some drama with the red/orange flash cutting across the cool blue. The drama is in what it can do!
