The Magenta Spoon 03 print is on 100% smooth cotton paper. It involves about three processes. Firstly an outline is printed onto newsprint which enables me to cut out a stencil. I position this over the archival paper chosen for the final print. The bright colour is sprayed on and left to dry overnight. The next day, I’ll pass it through my giclee printer for the final print of the spoon. Each one is unique so a slight mis-registration should be expected.
