It’s Bridget Riley’s birthday on the 24th April (1931) and I wanted to celebrate the fact by reposting this tribute I did for her and Mary Quant back in December.
These two 90 year old female British artists/designers were born in South London and both attended Goldsmiths College, but as far as I know never met. Mary Quanth as since died in 2023 but I wanted to recognise both their achievements with this post. This is one of a series which I will publish soon. They are all available as giclee prints on 300gsm paper.
